St. Michael's Lent
St. Francis and Padre Pio both observed 'St. Michael's Lent', a 40-day period of prayer and penance between the Solemnity of the Assumption on August 15th and the feast of St. Michael on September 29th. This year in 2025, Warriors of St. Michael is entering into this season of joyful penitence with the prayer intentions of becoming the husbands, fathers, leaders, protectors, and providers we are called to be in our families, parishes, ministries, and places of employment. Specifically, we are (1) Speaking daily truth declarations to root ourselves in our identity as sons of God; (2) Speaking words of encouragement to our wives, children, other family members, and friends; and (3) Participating in additional prayer and physical sacrifices each man has individually discerned.
It all culminates in consecrating or re-consecrating ourselves to Jesus through the patronage of St. Michael the Archangel by enrolling in the Scapular of St. Michael Sept 27-28 after the weekend Masses at Christ the King Parish in Ann Arbor, Michigan. 120 St. Michael Scapulars will be provided, or you can bring your own.

Can I do my own thing?
Yes, you are completely free to discern exactly what the Lord wants you to focus on for St. Michael's Lent. However, you are highly encouraged to engage in some form of prayer AND some form of sacrifice.
